Automatic Renewals 

 

Most items will automatically renew as long as your account is in good standing and items checked out are not on hold or overdue.  

 

  • The following items are not renewable:  Lucky Day, Launchpads, Kits (Toniebox, Literacy, Parenting, STEAM) 

 

Fine-Free Library Policy

 

The Library is committed to being a fine-free library for most overdue items. However, an overdue fine of $5.00 per day will apply to the following items Hotspots, projectors and screens, laptops, and other Beyond Books items that cost over $100. 

 

  •  If an item is  14 days overdue, your account will be blocked from further checkouts until you return the item.

  • Book bags 
  • Kits (Literacy, Parenting, STEAM) – 5 per card. No renewals 

 

  • DVDs – TV Series 
  • Board games and puzzles 
  • Vinyl Records 
  • Toniebox Kit – 1 per card. No renewals 
  • Beyond Books Items:
    Hotspots, projectors and screens, laptops – 1 per household 

 

  • Lucky Day – No renewals 
  • Video Games – 5 per card 
  • DVDs – Movies and Non-Fiction 
  • Magazines 

 

 

*Beyond Books Items can only be checked out by SCPL cardholders
