The Alba Quartet (flute, violin, viola, cello) performs a program of the music of Mozart and his contemporaries interspersed with fun facts about the man and his life (and death!:)

Join Gavin Coyle, Carlyn Lloyd, and Jon Warfel as we take a trip to the ’70s featuring music of James Taylor, Seals and Crofts, Chicago, Elton John, and many others. Grab your bell bottoms!
February 2 – Dina Bach
Dina Bach is a singer, and songwriter based in Chicago and Nashville. Her warm vocals and playfully evocative lyrics create a sound that is both original and approachable.
February 16 – Black Willow Brass Quintet *
Known for embracing a wide variety of literature — everything from Bach to Brahms, Ragtime to Radiohead, and folksongs to theme songs — the quintet offers programs for audiences of all ages and interests.
March 9 – Robert Chen and Josh Graham *
Robert Chen is the concertmaster of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Josh Graham is the Assistant Professor and Percussion Program Coordinator at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
March 16 – Brad Conroy *
An afternoon of classical guitar with Brad Conroy. Come and enjoy an intimate performance that features the music of Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Henry Purcell, Brad Conroy, and Fernando Sor.
March 30 – Petra Sings/Andy Swings
Welcome back to the acclaimed jazz duo of vocalist Petra van Nuis and guitarist Andy Brown! Enjoy the nostalgic enchantment of timeless Great American Songbook standards both familiar and obscure.
April 13 – Elgin Symphony Orchestra Ensemble TBD *
The Sunday Concert Series began in 1979. The library has hosted hundreds of musicians, singers, and professional performers from a wide variety of musical styles.
